Wedding Planner ("the app", "we", "us") helps couples and professional
planners organize weddings and events. This policy explains what
information the app collects, how it is used, and the choices you have.
By using the app you agree to this policy.
1. Information you provide
- Account details — your name, email address, and
profile photo when you sign up with email, Google, or Apple.
- Wedding and event content — wedding dates, venues,
budgets, checklists, timelines, seating arrangements, floor plans,
notes, task assignments, and approval requests you create.
- Guest information — names and, if you add them,
contact details, RSVP status, dietary needs, meal preferences, and
similar details about your guests. You are responsible for having the
right to share this information with us (see section 6).
- Photos and documents — files you choose to upload
to your wedding's media library.
- Business details — for planner accounts, your
company name and logo.
2. Information collected with your permission
- Contacts — if you use contact import, the app asks
for permission and stores only the contacts you explicitly select as
guests. We never upload your full address book.
- Calendar — if you enable calendar sync, the app
writes your wedding events to your device calendar. You can turn this
off at any time in the app's settings.
- Push notifications — if you enable notifications,
we store a device token so we can send reminders (tasks, payments,
RSVPs, team assignments, approvals). Every category can be turned off
individually in the app.
3. Information collected automatically
- Usage analytics — we use Google Firebase Analytics
to understand which features are used (for example, that a task was
completed or a guest was added). Analytics events do not include the
content of your weddings.
- Purchase state — subscription and trial status is
processed by RevenueCat and the Apple App Store or Google Play. We never
see or store your card details; payment is handled entirely by the
store.
Guest mode: if you use the app without creating an
account, your wedding data is stored only on your device and is not
sent to our servers.
4. How we use your information
- To provide the service: storing and syncing your wedding data
across your devices and with the people you invite.
- To enable collaboration: partners, planner team members, and
clients you invite can see and edit the weddings they are given access
to, including tasks, approvals, and guest lists.
- To send emails you request, such as partner invitations and RSVP
invitations to your guests.
- To send reminders and notifications you have enabled.
- To operate subscriptions and free trials.
- To improve the app using aggregated usage analytics.
5. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information and we do not show
third-party advertising. Information is shared only with:
- Service providers — Google Firebase (authentication,
database, file storage, notifications, analytics) and RevenueCat
(subscription management). They process data on our behalf under their
own privacy commitments.
- People you invite — anyone you add to a wedding
(a partner, a planner's team member, or a client) can see that
wedding's content.
- Legal requirements — if required by law or to
protect the rights and safety of our users.
6. Your guests' information
When you add guests, you are providing information about other people.
You confirm that you are entitled to share it (for example, that they are
people you are inviting to your event) and that you will use features
like RSVP emails responsibly. If a guest asks you to remove their
details, you can delete them in the app at any time.
7. Security and storage
Your data is encrypted in transit and stored on Google Cloud
infrastructure (which may be located in the United States). Access is
restricted by per-wedding security rules: only the account owner and the
members explicitly assigned to a wedding can read or modify it.
8. Data retention and deletion
Your data is kept while your account is active. You can delete your
account from the app's settings, which removes your account data,
weddings you own, and uploaded files. You can also email us at

9. Children
The app is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly
collect information from them. Guest entries (such as a children-count
for a family) are provided by the account holder, not by children.
10. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct,
export, or delete your personal information. Most of this you can do
directly in the app; for anything else, contact us and we will help.
11. Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we will update this page and note the new
date above. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the
updated policy.
